Fresh Halloween Costumes for Beaded Men in 2020

Fresh Halloween Costumes for Beaded Men in 2020

on

Trick or treat — beards are neat! There’s a lot of pressure that lies in choosing the perfect Halloween costume that compliments your beard. While Halloween parties may be going virtual this year, you can still impress everyone in attendance with your FRESH costume and prize-worthy beard.

Joe Exotic (Tiger King)

Tiger King’s Joe Exotic became a household name when Netflix first released the documentary in March of this year. His wild style is sure to be recognizable at any virtual or social distanced Halloween party this year! To pull the costume off, start with shaving the signature horseshoe mustache, invest in a blonde mullet wig with bangs, brightly colored, animal print sequin shirt, skinny jeans, cowboy boots, and a stuffed tiger for added effect.

P.S. Make it a couple’s costume by going with Joe Exotic’s arch nemesis — Carole Baskin!

Our Armor Sandalwood and Bourbon beard butter is the perfect blend for this costume. While our Armor blend won’t help protect against any wild beasts, it will help act as a defense for the beard against any wild smells it may encounter.

Alan (The Hangover)

Are you a new dad and want your baby to be involved in your Halloween costume this year? Dress up as Alan from the Hangover with a few common items found in many men’s closets — a graphic tee, khaki pants, sunglasses, and most importantly, your baby and baby carrier. Throw on a purse, errr a satchel as Alan would say, brush your full beard, and you’re ready for whatever fun the night brings!

When choosing the perfect beard blend for this costume, we recommend picking Dark Roast for two reasons. One, any new dad understands the importance of coffee during those first few sleepless months and two, it’s the drink of choice for many after a long night of partying.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)

Arrrrgh matey! In need of the best bearded costume to win the booty at your virtual Halloween party this year? Well, shiver me timbers do we have the costume for you! Dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. To complete this look, dress in your pirate best and style your goatee in two braids with beads at the end.

Choosing the beard blend to compliment this costume shouldn’t even be a question. Our Shipwrecked Bay Rum scent is the only one you need! Yo-ho-yo-ho!

Billy Mays (OxiClean)

2020 has driven many people to stock up on home cleaning supplies, and if you’re one of those people, you can use any bottle of OxiClean branded products to pull off the Billy Mays costume. While Billy Mays is known for his role selling OxiClean products in commercials and his signature line, he is also remembered by his impressive beard. Keep your attire simple with a blue button down shirt and khaki pants and let the cleaning products and beard speak for itself.

“But wait, there’s more!” Complete your costume by adding some of our 1920 blend to your beard. The scent will bring back memories of the fresh and clean smell that vintage barbershops give off.

I think we can all agree, we don’t need 2020 to show us any more!

Genie (Aladdin)

The genie will grant you three wishes and since we already have you covered with quality beard products, perhaps he can grant your wish to be the best dressed at your Halloween party this year!

For this costume, the beard and hair style is just as, if not more, important as the genie attire. Once you have your outfit, work on pulling your goatee together and fastening it with a gold bead. For the hair, either a top knot or long braid will work! Don’t be afraid to accessorize with gold-colored hair pieces.

When dressing as the magical role of the genie, it’s only fitting that you use our Voodoo cologne blend in your beard. This bergamot, fresh lime, jasmine, sweet orange, and eucalyptus spellbinding blend will make you think it’s worked magic in your beard.

Chuck Noland (Cast Away)

In Cast Away, Tom Hanks played Chuck Noland — a plane crash survivor who gets rescued after being stranded on an island for four years. It’s important to keep your hair and beard ungroomed and wild for the party to match the look of his character. For an outfit, worn clothes and a FedEx box will do the trick! Many of us may be able to relate to the character this year with feelings of social isolation, so don’t forget to create your own Wilson volleyball friend to attend the virtual party with you.

While Chuck may not have had access to beard care products on the island, he may have chosen our Beach Blend if he did. The tropical coconut and lemongrass blend will take you back to the warm summer months even though we’re in October!

No Tricks, All Treats

Regardless of what costume you choose, remember the most important part — your Fresh Beards product! An ungroomed beard can give the biggest fright to others you see so treat it to your favorite blend.
